Honorary Chair: Brigadier General Steve Ritchie - "America's Last Ace"

During combat in Vietnam, then Captain Ritchie became the only American pilot in history to down five MiG-21s, a record that has yet to be equaled. His decorations include the Air Force Cross (our nation's second highest award), 4 Silver Stars, 10 Distinguished Flying Crosses and 25 Air Medals.

He has more than 4,000 hours of fighter time, including 800 combat hours in the F-4 Phantom during 339 missions. He has flown the T-37, T-33, T-38, F-104, F-100, F-4, F-15, F-16, and was one of the youngest instructors ever at the Air Force "Top Gun" Fighter Weapons School, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.

He ran for the U. S. Congress from the state of North Carolina, and has held numerous executive positions with civilian corporations. He was Director of the Office of Child Support Enforcement at the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D. C. and currently is president of his own company. www.generalsteveritchie.com

Event Chairs: Jula Jane and Keith Coggins

In support of the Warfighter, Defense Contractors Jula Jane and Keith Coggins of Coggins International continually put their "boots on the ground" in all corners of the world including Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) in Afghanistan and Iraq. Their motto, "Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime," holds true in anything they do, especially when it comes to giving back.

Operation G.I. Jane is Jula Jane's baby, but as their company is largely made up of ex-military, it's also important to all of Coggins International. "We work directly with the Warfighter in our business and come in contact with some of the strongest people you'll ever meet. And sometimes even the strongest of hearts need a little help. We saw that need more than ever with deployed single moms," recalls Jane. And so, Operation G.I. Jane was born.
